Optimizing Self-Care Option

Psychotherapy + Integrated Mental Health & Wellbeing Support (IMHW)

The integrative mental health & wellness support services are an opt-in model of self-care. It is a hybrid of lifestyle, mental health, and wellness planning based on your goals as developed in collaboration with your clinician  It is about optimizing your quality of life centered around mental health; such as enhancing your personal experiences with anxiety, depression, attention, or other mood experiences that are undesirable. This is accomplished by assessing your lifestyle and food routines, movement routines, as well as, environmental exposures, and then connecting next action steps with your personal goals.

This approach is a client-driven approach and a good level of motivation is required in order to experience progress.  This is for the individual already engaged in ongoing psychotherapy treatment. The typical structure of meetings you can anticipate is a 45-minute initial intake meeting with two to
three, 20-minute follow-up sessions as an add-on to your already scheduled therapy session approximately every 3- 4 weeks.

Dr. Sara Teta does not condone or address any changes in the clients’ medication regimen (if applicable) as this is outside of the scope of the integrative mental health services; any medication support will need to be addressed with the appropriate medical professionals by the client.
The provider will provide all information the client needs in order to effectively advocate for themselves with their medical team.
