My approach is holistic and integrative in nature; I believe that for the mind to be healthy, the body, mind, and spiritual needs of the person need to be in alignment. The mind includes our thoughts, feelings, and actions, while the body represents how those, coupled with lifestyle and nutrition routines, manifest physically. While our spiritual experience can differ widely, it is, at its root, the connection we experience to the world we live in. This can include, but is not limited to, our personal and intimate relationships with other humans, with nature and the earth we live on, with the food we eat, with the values we set, the routines we engage in to fulfill those values, and/ or with a religious deity.
The clients I work with vary. You may or may not already be diagnosed with a disorder or disability, or have emerging concerns that you are not able to manage current difficulties and feel overwhelmed.

The clients I work with include young to middle-aged adults, children, adolescents, teenagers, and/ or the parent or guardian of those experiencing these mental health difficulties. For individuals under 18 years of age, the family participation is a vital component of the therapy work. The first session will include the parent and from there we will collaboratively discuss what is in the best interest of the child regarding meeting individually or with parent in attendance for future sessions. My approach is collaborative; together we will set achievable goals and I will support you with developing the capacity to meet those goals on your timeline. I truly believe everyone has the ability to manage their feelings, wants, and experiences all while getting their personal needs met.
